Let's NOT agree to disagree

Here's why.

You and I are debating.  And I'm losing... because you're winning, fair and square.  But believe it or not, I'm winning too, because I want to be on the side of rationality and truth.  I am exchanging a temporary feeling of discomfort for a lifetime of valuable information.  And the same applies if the situation is reversed.

But if we agree to disagree, then we both lost.  I lost my time, you lost your time.  I learned nothing, you learned nothing.  And the truth remained undiscovered at least for one of us.  If you care about the truth, you cannot afford to disagree.

So let's not, shall we?
