Validating each page as it is being edited

WordPress XHTML validator transparently validates the contents and title of any post or page you open in the post/page editor. If there’s a problem with validation, XHTML validator will notify you, generally above the content text box or the page title, depending on where the validation problem is.

Validating your entire Wordpress database

You can validate the entire weblog at once as well. To perform a complete validation:

  1. Open the WordPress administrative interface of your weblog
  2. Click the Manage link on the top navigation bar
  3. Click the XHTML validator link on the second navigation bar that appears

The validation process will begin and take a few moments. After it’s finished, you’ll see a list of every invalid post, page and comment. Each entry is shown together with a link to edit it, the original contents, the explanation for its failure to validate, and a suggestion from xmllint and tidy.
