WordPress AutoLink is now 0.4.0

Wednesday, March 1st, 2006

Yes, a new version of WordPress AutoLink is ready to rock. If you were a user of WordPress AutoLink, you might have noticed that, sometimes, under certain specific conditions, URLs with ampersands placed on a href anchors were being mangled. Not anymore!

The code was also simplified, and lots of functions now call WordPress-builtin functions. Cutting code is always good, because fewer bugs can creep in.

Plus, you get the ability to check the PHP error log in your server and see what’s wrong, or, more accurately, what AutoLink is doing behind the scenes. Messages are logged with E_USER_NOTICE priority.
