Plone Documentation Center failing with right_slots or 'name not defined' errors?

Plone Documentation Center has been having some issues with Plone 3.1 and above. Here is the fix.

If your Plone Documentation Center 1.5 is barfing out when trying to see one of the sub-elements (manuals, FAQ, ...) with a traceback that mentions right_slots or "Name is not defined' (here are a few examples), work around it with this:

  1. Open your Plone Doc Center
  2. Manage it by tacking /manage to the end of the URL
  3. Go to Properties
  4. Add a string property with any content, named right_slots

That is it.
