The latest release of Plone just hit the shelves, and we're right on track delivering the RPM releases for your CentOS and Fedora.

The missing RPMs is proud to announce that it now carries the latest stable Plone packages for your use.  They have been tested in CentOS 5.2 but they should work in any RPM-based distribution.  So go there and have a field day installing Plone now!  And don't forget to read the manual for a few details of this RPM-based release.

Engineering information

  • The scripts used to build the Plone RPMs are all in The missing RPM's Yum repository.
  • The only Plone RPM that was rebuilt and updated with a patch from the upstream sources is the plone.app.layout package, which required a patch to make Google Sitemaps work with LinguaPlone.
