That’s why it’s important to challenge these shit flingers as loudly and publicly as possible in every possible forum and venue. Otherwise, by sheer repetition, the shit sticks.
The quotation is mine. I wrote it up in response to an argument stating that anti-evolutionists and religious nutcases shouldn’t be given the dignity of a response.
Seriously, shit sticks. If you don’t do anything to hinder the bad guys, they win. Don’t be afraid to voice your opinion — and be prepared to take a stand for it.

The problem with responding to forums or blog posts is that the administrators have the option to eliminate (and some even worst, to edit) any response they dislike. Once the responder knows his/her limitations, s/he has to choose between ignoring the publication or write about it somewhere else.
Agreed, ignoring is a way of granting, giving up, or yielding.
